How can I succesfully repair my own credit ?
John G asked:
Do credit repair companies work? I want to build or buy a house for my family .This is no joke , I have seven kids . So it’s very important that I get a good P.M.I. and a good interest rate or I’ll never be able to afford it. I make about 60k a year , but one of kids had to have 5 brain surgeries right after she was born and this ruined my wife and my credit . Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please , serious stuff only.

Credit Repair
Anita Hagberg asked:
Repairing your Credit
Credit has always been very important and we sometimes fall on hard times and only keep up with the things that are most pressing. We get so busy in the day to day workings of our life we forget that loan or the card we couldn’t pay maybe a rental service we used that pays over time. Most people will cut up the credit card or throw it in the drawer and take the “out of sight out of mind” approach. What we forget is just because we haven’t got a bill from them in awhile doesn’t mean it went away. They closed that account and reported it to the credit bureau and you will have to face them one way or another someday.
Maybe you paid on this bill and left it at that. So many pay off a charge they owed and don’t go any further. It’s not the company or the credit bureau responsibility to make sure it’s off your credit. It makes sense if they put it there they would have the courtesy to remove it, BUT THEY DON’T and they won’t until you challenge them. What most of us don’t know that they get paid several times for that account and still feel no obligation to remove it? Yes, if you owe the money you should pay it back. Often times you have paid the debt and/or the debt are higher than the amount you know you owe. There are so many variables and ways to correct this. Most of us don’t take the time to even look into our Credit file. Did you know you’re entitled to one free report a year from all three credit reporting agencies? All it takes is one phone call and a little patience to get through the automated call. A lot of us believe this myth “After seven years it had to drop off anyway “Not true! As long as they follow the rules that will remain. This affects everything you do!
Buying a car your payments are higher due to the risk factor, Car insurance companies now check your credit and if there is a risk factor you will pay more.Banks won’t loan you money, and you can’t qualify for a loan or refinance your loan if needed. Employers are looking into potential employees credit file more so now days Landlords and utilities like phone companies and cable companies to name a few.And what to the do?That’s right they ask for a huge deposit. Listen, it takes time to repair your credit and do it right. Yes in many cases you can see a major difference in a few short months. Credit repair is time consuming and in some cases a full time job. Each person’s credit report is different. Now the good News! If you’re worried about your financial future we would love to talk to you and help you set yourself back on the road to financial freedom. If you live in the United States and you would like to repair you credit and commit to doing what it takes then please visit our website or call us at the number below. We would be happy to service your needs.

What is the best way to repair credit if you can’t get any credit because of the bad history?
tak3032 asked:
I have really, really, really bad credit anything you can think of. I want to repair it but I noticed almost all of it will be cleared up from my credit report in 3yrs any ways. Should I continue and neglect the payments and wait the 3yrs or should I try to pay them. It’s been about 4-5 yrs since I last paid my creditors. Some have told me to just wait because even if I did pay back all the creditors my credit report would still show that I was past due for so long. I should just hang and wait for the 3yrs and I’ll be good to go.
